Our Initiatives

NACEP is establishing regional working groups that bring together Tribal leaders, economic development professionals, and key partners to identify needs, share best practices, and design projects tailored to their regions. These groups will help ensure that solutions reflect local priorities and lived experience.

The coalition is developing a focused set of national policy priorities that support Tribal sovereignty and economic growth. Through coordinated advocacy, NACEP will work to streamline access to federal programs, modernize regulations, and advance policies that unlock capital, infrastructure, and workforce opportunities for Tribal Nations.

Many Tribal communities face barriers not because of lack of vision, but lack of capacity and resources. NACEP is launching capacity building initiatives that can include training, technical assistance, and peer to peer learning focused on areas such as:

• Accessing capital and federal funding

• Project planning and development

• Infrastructure and energy projects

• Workforce development and small business growth

NACEP facilitates partnerships that connect Tribal enterprises with each other and with responsible private sector partners. By creating pathways for inter Tribal trade, joint ventures, and investment, we help generate jobs, diversify revenue, and build long term economic resilience.

From the November convenings in Washington, D.C., to ongoing dialogue with the Administration, NACEP is committed to maintaining strong relationships with federal leaders. The coalition works to ensure Tribal voices are present at key decision making tables and that federal policy reflects Tribal priorities and on the ground realities.
